About Lynbrook, NY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Nassau County, New York, Lynbrook is a village with a population of nearly 20,000 residents. This community went through several names before landing on Lynbrook, including Rechquaakie, Parson’s Corners, Bloomfield, and Pearsall’s Corners. This village’s major claim to fame was being the setting of the Everybody Loves Raymond sitcom, although filming actually took place at the Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, California.  It is a popular commuter suburb, and the Long Island Rail Road provides Lynbrook residents with service to Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan via the Sunrise Highway station.

Lynbrook is home to several attractions that may be of interest to visitors and residents of this village. Families often enjoy a day at Fun Station USA, which features a roller coaster, bumper cars, and laser tag course. The Dance Workshop offers dance classes and puts on a variety of performances throughout the year, and the United Artists Lynbrook 6 Movie Theater is a great place to check out one of the newest films from Hollywood. Outdoor recreation is also available in Lynbrook, and Greis Park is a popular location for roller hockey and other outdoor activities.

The suburbs situated to the east of New York City are part of a humid subtropical climate zone, and this includes Lynbrook. This leads to hot and humid summer months, and average high temperatures during July are near 80 degrees. During these months, Lynbrook residents rely on their home to have an efficient air conditioning system to keep their interior cool while also minimizing the amount of allergens that are circulating throughout their house or apartment.

Winters in Lynbrook are damp and cold, and average highs during the month of January barely reach the freezing point. Snow is common throughout the season, and severe weather and heavy precipitation occur occasionally. Residents will need to have a heat pump or furnace available in order to stay safe during these weather patterns, especially if conditions become so severe that they are homebound.
