About Hempstead and Five Towns, NY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Five Towns is an area including five towns or villages in New York. The name comes from the 1931 Community Chest groups that joined together to form the five towns area, although in reality, all five "towns" are part of the town of Hempstead. The area is one of the wealthiest areas in the entire State of New York and has one of the highest percentages of Jewish residents in the entire U.S.
Education services are provided by the Lawrence Public Schools and the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools.
Hewlett is home to approximately 6,500 residents and features the Yeshiva of South Shore as well as the high school- Mesivta Ateres Yaakov of Greater Long Island.
Cedarhurst also has approximately 6,500 residents and is named after a grove of trees that formerly surrounded the post office.
Inwood is home to nearly 10,000 residents and is home to the Inwood Country Club, which once held the 1921 PGA Championship and the 1923 U.S. Open.
Woodmere is a small village but its population is over 17,000. It features the Woodmere Volunteer Fire Department, which has served the area since 1889.
Lawrence is home to approximately 6,500 residents and is home to the historic Rock Hall Museum, dating back to the American Revolution.
The Five Towns area has cold winters and warm summers. The moderate climate leaves plenty of sunny days for outdoor activities and makes it a perfect summer getaway from the heat and the big city life.
