About Baldwin, NY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in the Nassau County’s town of Hempstead, Baldwin is a hamlet with over 24,000 residents. It is situated on what is known as Long Island’s South Shore. Historically, this community was home to the first all-American monoplane, which was designed, constructed, and successfully flown here by Arthur and Albert Heinrich in 1910. Today, Baldwin is primarily a residential community, but residents can easily access other parts of greater New York City via the Long Island Rail Road, as there is a station on the Babylon Branch located in this community.

There are several prominent businesses and recreational spaces available in Baldwin. This community is home to a variety of public parks, including Coes Neck Park, Lofts Pond Park, and Silver Lake Park. Specifically, Baldwin Park offers a variety of recreational facilities, including volleyball, tennis, basketball, soccer, baseball, and paddleball, and there are also bike paths and playground equipment. Baldwin Nail & Spa and Cool Nails are both located in Baldwin, and antique hunters have several options to find some great deals, including Grand Avenue Antique Center, the Long Island Antiques Center, and the Baldwin Antiques Center.

The climate of Baldwin and the rest of long island is fairly mild when compared to the rest of the state. The summer months are warm and humid, with average daily highs reaching the low-80s in July – the hottest month of the year. While the Atlantic Ocean does bring in sea breezes that can temper the heat, most residents still invest in air conditioning systems to stay comfortable during heat waves.

The winter months tend to be damp with variable precipitation. Average temperatures in January stay in the low- to mid-30s, and the area experiences an average of 25 inches of snow each year. Cold rain – sometimes freezing – is also common, and residents will use their home furnace system consistently throughout the season.
