About Albertson, NY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Albertson is located in Nassau County, New York, just east of Searingtown and south of the city of Roslyn. Originally settled in 1644 by European immigrant John Seren, Albertson evolved into a small farming community that was later named for local farmer and gristmill operator Townsend Albertson. Today, the hamlet of Albertson is a largely residential community that is home to some 5,000 citizens who enjoy the magnificent New England-style climate that graces the region with warm summers, cold snowy winters, and lovely mild weather during spring and fall.
Albertson is home to the Clark Botanic Garden, a 12-acre living museum and education facility located on the former estate of noted author and attorney Grenville Clark. The garden is comprised of twelve separate specialty gardens containing more than 5,000 species of plants, trees, and shrubs that include wildflowers, butterfly plants, conifers, herbs, perennials, and medicinal plants.
Albertson’s family-friendly community, excellent schools, wonderful climate, and convenient proximity to JFK International Airport,Midtown Manhattan, and greater New York City make it a great place to live or visit anytime during the year!
